After much work, QuickWX 1.0 has been released. As of today, 16 people have bought it. Thank you very much, everyone. I'm starting this thread to track bugs in this release of QuickWX. I'll add bugs I find over email, and anyone is welcome to submit bugs and feature requests here.

I have a full page of weather apps and QuickWX is quickly becoming my favorite. There are a couple of things that bother me but may not bother others. 1. If I hit the magnify glass by mistake, the cancel button is grayed out. I must type some text and then cancel. 2. I would like to see today's low/high temp in the top Local Conditions. 3. In Weather Alerts, can you strip out or move the counties so it is easier to find the alert? (similar to the NOAA NWS app) GREAT APP!!!

Thanks so much for the feedback! It's really great to hear someone finds the app useful. I've put your requests at the top of the list.
1. This is an issue I knew about when I submitted it, but I haven't found a way around in Apple's docs. I am working on some other UI enhancements, though, that will streamline things and will let me do away with the cancel button.
2. I had this in a older build, but removed it to put in the summary. I'm considering making that line configurable to show high/low temps, summary, etc.
3. NOAA is changing their alert system, I'm in the process of making updates to QuickWX's back end webservice to accommodate those changes. One of the benefits of the new system is that it splits out counties from the actual alert text, so this change will be simple. Right now I just display the whole alert as NOAA sends it.

Sounds like the next release will be great. I noticed today that my rain percentages on the icons disappeared even though we had a chance.

NOAA specifies those icons in it's conditions feed. There is one that is just a tornado on a brown background. I hope never to see it.

There will be a deployment of the quickwx webservice tonight after 10pm CDT. This deployment will reduce the amount of extraneous text in the alerts and will switch the alert updater to NOAA's new alert feed system. The deployment should last no longer than 15 minutes.

Lately, QuickWX has been acting weird and inaccurate. I often compare it to other apps that use the same NOAA source. The icons are sometimes off a day or inaccurate. The rain percentages are often wrong. The percentages NEVER show up on the local conditions. Also the alert list is redundant and not always relevant. :(

Do you know about when this started? What percentage is missing on the local conditions? I've purged the forecast cache on the server.

A couple of weeks. You can plug in my area to check yourself. 71201 KMLU Monroe LA airport. I thought it may be NOAA but my other apps seem correct. The rain percentage on the local condition icon picture never appears even though there is a chance of rain.
